-so far spent in total
-70 for seats with good rails (why they cost so much i dont know
-250 +the recaro knockoffs for a whole lot of crx parts most of which i will try and part with but others keep....

-Also on the way is me buying a new cat and installation pics hopefully soon as my inspection runs out next week....

-but besides that cars running like a champ installed the new drivers side seat i think imma try to find some delsol seats so i sit more on the ground because im too damn tall when i hit bumps (well to put it another way i can tell how many bumps i hit by how many bumps i have on my head lol....)

so other then that doing well with this crx which costs about 100$ per month less to insure then my volvo wtf is up with that??

- Wed Feb 23, 2011 7:19 pm #240488 So lets start off with my over priced but much needed seats (to pass inspection if i had time i wouldve driven somewhere to get seats but these where semi local and actually cheaper then alot of seats ive found in even worse shape(70$)




And i took a bit of money and teh seats that didnt fit. that came with the car and got alot of crx parts and there are more to come this is pretty much all i could fit into my car
just to list some of the major parts
-Crx si lsd trans
-dash
-couple clusters
-another exhaust from the cat back that i will probaly use
-some other parts

Anyways gotta go out and buy a cat or may just go and chop the cat off my volvo and use that for now less money lol but idk i dont want to spend money on something that will end up going within a month or so....after taht i gotta fix a few more things then get her inspected....and hopefully start working on the v8 volvo lol

- Mon Feb 28, 2011 10:59 pm #241522 well today technically all of today as i was up around midnight and well got bored decided to fix the corner light on the bumper as one of the screws had disappeared, easy fix but then i was more towards the awake side and decided to do some more extensive work that involved fixing things and getting them ready for the cars inspection....low and behold when all was said and done i had an issue with the bumper signal which i later found to eb a issue with the socket having both prongs touching..... and after that it was time to fix the fuse box(wrong fuses and other areas where nothing was done ) and figure out why the hazard switch wasnt working (blown fuse) then i came across two washer nozzels from a 2005 civic the flat style which i proceeded to pop in and have fun.....so now everything works well and should pass a inspection and once thats done its onto the exhaust work and probaly once i get it to my friends a y8 intake swap .....and now fro teh large amount of pics


ohhh and forgot i also fixed where the license [plate goes

and now for some more updates this ones a duzy mainly because i have to get it inspected i got a magnaflow cat and since i couldnt get teh car in till today well lets just say i had a fun time with my buddy alex and my car doing much needed work.....
what i did in 24 hours yea i havent slept yet this cars that special to me to where id lose precious sleep for it lol
-swapped the exhaust original no name fart can for a tsudo or whatever it is sounds alot better and wont get hassled by the police
=Got a cat welded up and put inplace of the old straightpipe that was in there
-installed energy suspension bushings for the shift linkage
-also swapped the short throw shifter for a integra dual bend yup the one from my red hatch i had this crx is slowly getting more eg by the day lol.....
-put in the p.side seat

^and thats where i decided to pass out (after writing that lol wouldve been posted sooner but passed out typing this lol)

anyhow new update it passed the state inspection so im good for a year and got offered a paint job for 800 just now tho gotta replace both tie rod ends i felt it on teh way to the shop so once thats done most of the maintainance should be complete.....

and heres where instead of sitting around waiting i decided to go and do something other then swap the injectors in my moms volvo with my parts car which took all of 30mins.....

bitch pin wouldnt come out probably needs to be pounded from the top ill do that when i replace the intake....but got the linkage out none the less

and its at this time i went to observe my buddy alex get teh cat ready for me and decided to take some pictures

so then i brought the cat home this being around 1-2am and started fitting the exhaust cant thank you enough alex! welding was sweet and the cat bolted right in like it was meant for it








its still close to the roll bar but all n all its all good


and then when i finished i dropped her off at the shop and now im going to go pick her up......and im good for another year of full fledged honda fun!

driving back from the inspection i got a tad too happy and decided to accelerate quickly past this stupid focus that was driven by an old man putting up to 55 so i pass him then two seconds later i hit a bump and wabam !! my corner lens pops out and is flopping over the place hitting my fender quickly pull over and inspect the damage thankfully just some scuffs and a busted corner lens....








so the only corner lenses that i had that would fit (yea i still have egs lol would be a ef hatch which dosent really fit but for the time being until i order some off ebay it will do its job still have to fix the blinker light but for the time being my bumper and rear turn signal will work....other then that its been a pretty uneventful dreadfully cold day

lol im to respectful for that people walk all over me but meh i know how to steal one to if it came to it wedge a flat head in between the hood and unscrew how do i know this well before the whole corner issue my blinker bulb blew on that side so i had to replace it well wouldnt you know it my hood didnt wish to open probaly since the bumper was resting on it not allowing the spring to pop anyhow used that trick and did that but meh ill find something this suites me for now and ive also decided a direction im going to go in but i shall leave it a surprize till i get further into it lol....

also purchased brand new outer tie rods for 20$ i love the place i go i get such good deals lol

Also, I saw a guy with a CRX the other day an he had about 4-5 wood fence panels for this front bumper. I think that needs to happen asap!

- Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:55 pm #242801 so im transferring 500 to my paypal for some nice things for the crx well things you probaly wont see....but also yesturday and into the morning today it snowed there was a state of emergency declared till 10am so no cars where suppose to be on the road except plows and emergency vehicles of coarse and thankfully i didnt work at all so i slept thru this as i was up till 2am shoveling anyhow heres the aftermath and my crx in the snow lol or should i say under the snow....









up to my knee id say about 2ft of snow fell

bought some things on a whim for the crx today and had found some things for it as well...........

9mm plug wires from a z6





and 7mm wires from a bmw 325i e30 of which ill probaly use the coil wire from this maybe....




So yea tomorrow i will be purchasing abit so cant wait for paypal to get the transfer cleared.....
