if you have "uninsured motorist" on your insurance then yes. The Delsol has Full coverage, The Sedan has basic libality and then "Uninsured motorist" on it.
If they had some form of insurance identification at the time of the wreck go after the insurance company. Especally if it was a parents car. If the car was insured through his parents its still covered. If there was proof of insurance at the wreck dont take no from the insurance company.
If the insurance company wont cover the insurance after talking to them agian get a lawyer. I would make sure to talk to the lawyer and see if he recommends bringing the police into it. If he doesn't have insurance however presented something to the police then its fraud and lieing to a police officer which will get him a) a Huge fine and b) Jail time.
Might be a good idea to leave a message on their voicemail if you dont get your money from them, the police will be involved and that the police take fraud very seriously. Especially during a recession.
It will help get them moving in the very least.
