either 2 horizontal form one another and one at the top.
of just the 2.



you want the 2 across form each other and line them up with the bottom surface of the cylinder head.
then just set your #1 piston to TDC and slide on the belt

- Sun Mar 14, 2010 5:05 am #181187 you set your crank shaft so that the #1 cylinder is at the top of its rotation.
take out that spark plug and drop a straight coat hanger or whatever.
crank your pulley so that the engine rotates and watch the coathanger till it comes all the way up and stops. before its on its way down.

thats TDC for the bottom end
