iite heres the deal i saw on youtube a d-series all motor hit 8.43 seconds on the strip. now it was a crx so i kno that car comes with the D15B which gives bout 130hp. nows heres where im thinking.. now we all know how to make a mini-swap from the stickys (thank you) . so im thinking what if we use D16Y8 head on a D15B block n use all high compression gaskets. it should haul i think. or should it be reversed D15B head on a D16Y8??? please if anyone can help me out id appreciate it. i love D-SERIES!! all the way.

if you are talking about ed bergenholtz that was ages ago. and it was i believe D16A and it was non vtec oh and all motor tooo.

wait what do you mean D15A?? please explain. n do you think it could work the setup im interestd in??

Rob typed D16A, most likely a D16a6 which is a very strong D series engine to use for a build.
D16z6 and D16a6 are the most common D16's to build up. Stay away from D16y8, as they are known to have oil issues.
