i have a jdm d15b vtec in my 94 civic. what valve cover and oil pan gaskets do i need to buy if i go to a parts store.

d16z6 out of a civic SI or EX.
pretty much the same exact motor except for the d15b has a more aggressive cam.

And less displacement, and different pistons ... I would wager that any d series oil pan gasket would work ... But I would lean towards a d15 for that, since they are the same block. I would get the z6 valve cover gasket, since they are the same head.

d15b is a factory b7/z6 mini me with a better crank and rods.
