Alrite so my mini me is about to go and I originally had a d16z6 in my car, but I threw a rod and just switched the bottom block with a d15b7 . So now the mini is about to go bye bye because I have a rod knock. I found another z6 block with the head for $200 on craigslist and I wanna do the motor right this time so I'm gonna buy the z6 and rebuild it. My question is what pistons and rings should I go with? I wanna be able to pass smog , have reliability , but I want my motor to be fresh and handle a little abuse. I don't think I'm gonna go turbo anytime soon. What pistons are good and affordable?
