switching to syntic oil

has anyone had problems with this in a d15b7 withover 200000 miles on it?

Why would u have problems synthetic oil is better for your car period and u don have to "switch" just change it and if u don't like how it runs change back

Thought once you go synthetic its not good to go back? myth? I'm not very versed on oil...

to me oil is oil
ive done synthic, and then back to normal back to synthic
100 of times, i just try to use valveoline or mobile 1

ok ya i know it better but it can cause some leak or a tick because it cleaning up the engines.

I ran synthetic in my truck when I had it and I got better gas mileage... But it was a high performance motor. I think using synthetic in a average motor is like running premium gas.. its pointless.

no chance thats only if u drive ur car like an average person ..most of us push the hell ou tof ower stock motors so ur better off using a better oil

Dont they say if you want to do full synthetic. from regular oil. go synthetic blend then wait a few hundred miles then drain and refill with full synthetic.. ..
well that's how ive done it. no issues...

dont run synthetic in our motors use what the factory says wich is 5w 30
i have never run synthetic in any of my vehicles and dont plan too our d series motors were designed to not use sythnetic oil

what does synthic do that reg oil doesnt?
oh wait nothing, it lubes the motor
run what ever kinda of oil you want
either isnt gonna hurt your motor

its all personal preference really
as far as switching back and forth i think it should be fine
