D15B cylinder head.... How do I remove the Cam GEAR from the cam shaft. The bolt is out... I tried pulling it out but it is stuck in really hard. Does it normally come out easily ???

It shouldn't come out esy but it also should not be super hard.

Try tapping it from evry corner with a mallet :thumb:

Whatever I did the gear would not come off... I used a pulley removal took and it started distorting the gear itself . I finally banged in the gear towards the inside of the camshaft... of course now I have a distorted gear that hangs around the top of the camshaft but I still do not know how to get it out.... it just WON'T come out ! If you'd like to see it , I'd post a picture this weekend.
