I am about to do the timing belt and water pump/idler. The instructions for the water pump say to use sealant, but it has an oring. Do you guys use sealant on the oring? I only want to do this once.

I have never used any sealant. Just be sure the O ring is in proper place and torque the bolts down. :thumb:

X2 as long as there's a gasket you don't need sealant, just make sure all the contact surface is clean and torqe the bolts to spec.
