would polishing my manifold and port and polish my d15b7 help it out any

For the time/$$ spent polishing/porting a D15b7 manifold, you'd be better off going with an ex/si transmission, intake, exhaust... or put the $ toward a swap (even if it is only a d16z6).

i was gonna do it my self so it wouldnt cost much and its simple enough that i can do it just wanted to see what benefits it would do im mean for like 25 for hg and 11 for mg its cheap

I would start with a z6 IM, the runners are already bigger than the d15b7's
