CEL code 8/9 Distributor

I have 92 hatch with d16zc with vtec head. Problem I'm having is my distributor went bad so I bought a used one and installed it and cel code 9 popped up, i reset the ecu and still there afterwards. So I went back they gave me another dizzy but this time cel code 8 popped. Went back again got another dizzy and again code 8. Just lost right now...[/i]

yea its the TD42u...figured it out. the harness has a broken wire

hey i do have an other question though...the broken wire that i need to repair is wrapped around actual wire and plastic casing...can i cut it off?

Im not sure i understand, wires have insulation. If there is a loom over if as well, cut the tape back so you can repair the wire
