Here's the D-series page:
http://www.prostreetonline.com/sku/bxim-20200.html

The Blox one-piece cast aluminum intake manifold will improve your engine's overall flow characteristics compared to the factory unit. Using the latest in casting technology reduces its overall weight and makes the Blox manifold the lightest in the industry. Each application has been designed using a larger plenum and longer intake runners, then tuned for peak power at high RPM. Blox intake manifolds are ideal for naturally-aspirated or forced induction applications. All factory sensors and throttle body are utilized, while recessed bolt holes make for a simple installation. Applications are currently available for Honda DOHC 1.6-1.8L VTEC and non-VTEC engines. CARB-EO pending.

Other applications coming soon for Honda D-series (SOHC), K-series (DOHC-iVTEC)

#202510 Wow.. Looks just like Skunk2's manifold with out the Skunk2 badge.. =]

for 150 it's not bad.. Teal how smooth of a transition is it in there going into the 1st runner?.

So i looked it up. the blox max bore for the blox is 72mm.
skunk2 is 75mm

hmmm..

#204730 Bump id love to know if this is worth getting
And if this is beneficial.

#204909 Some dyno charts would clear all this up.

Since it's Blox I question the R&D.

It's hard to go wrong if you're FI. But if it's N/A it's very tricky and much easier to lose power than to gain it with changes to the IM and TB. Most of the time your power gains will be up above your rev limit.

#204924 if you dont change the tb it should gain some power due to the longer runners, but to big of a tb i would think it would bog down at low rpms

#205012 So stick with stock Tb and get a blox or skunk2 IM?

I dont think that would work.
Il do this once my swap is complete and ive put a few miles on it.
Just so I can get a feel for my engine.

And im not boosted right now
And pretty sure im not NA
:? ugh

#205820 It's beneficial man. it makes your air flow better into the engine. and even more so if you got head work.of course you have the ones on here saying NO it's not worth it, Honestly it's better then stock and it's definately better then not having one. Some wont spend the money cuz they say they dont need it, eventually you will..... . if you really get into it, the more you'll gain as always with any build. and also dependeing what you do and most importantly TUNING is KEY!!!!
. Remember stock components were designed for stock set ups. usually. u can modify them and sometimes you cannot. so if your build your motor, like i am, then it's something to get. Dont want to have a built head and block fully built, meaning port work and making everything bigger, then you go run on your stock intake manifold. just doesnt work right..

i could have left it at 65mm, but im going boost. and 68mm was recommended and it was what originally intended to bore out to. I should see some decent gains in WHP. will post it up once im done..
