if you still have your sohc use the inj out of that and the map off the sohc if you have it, if you have the sock dx motor the injectors are the same... that will help point you to a component or a wiring problem.... if your sohc was fine you know there good known parts you can substitute :thumb:

well here is the thing i got the car as a shell with nothing and i mean nothing on it or in it so i have been putting it together when i got the motor i modifyed obd2 injectors to fit by cutting the plugs on them
i just want to know if the injector prob can trigger the map prob

i dont know if the 2 are related or not honestly... i have never had this kind of a problem before. the obd2 inj swap shouldnt have caused any problems tho... i have seen this happen before though... onething will cause a code for something else :? i did a h2b swap with a friend, and when we did the engine harness we got the evap purge plug and the intake air temp plug swithced because they were both grey, and this made it throw an oxygen sensor/ oxygen content code... so i cant 100% say the 2 arent related.... sorry im not a whole lot of help :? but ive mix and matched diff. gen parts as far as obd1 and obd2 and never had problems....

Modified injector plugs for OBD2 injectors?! Why? Neither your chassis nor your engine are OBD2, and OBD2 injectors are no different than OBD1 except for the plugs.

Get yourself any OBD1 B series or D series VTEC injectors.

Your MAP sensor code is not related to the injectors. You probably have some confusion between firewall and throttle body MAP sensors, or you have it unplugged or you have it switched with the TPS.

the plugs are in the right spot i tried the one plug on the firewall for the map sensor and i also tried the one of the harness and the one off the harness works alot better then the one of the firewall.
what one iam i sposed to use? does any1 have the wiring dyagram for the harness its a 94 dx harness in a 92 dx

there shouldnt be a map sensor plug on your fire wall? ef chassis were the only ones that had that...

No.. early non-vtec EGs have them on the firewall. I think 92, 93.

I don't know what you mean by having a MAP sensor on your harness. I replied in your other thread. This is very confusing. You shouldn't have so many threads.

No, there isn't. Look at the wire COLORS. One is for EGR controller or something else.
