B18B1 rebuild questions

A buddy of mine spun a bearing in his 1996 integra and all of my bushings are split on my 2000 civic, so we traded cars. I'm trying to decide on rebuilding this motor or saving for a swap depending on price. On average how much is a B series rebuild? I can do the actual building but I can't do the machine work on the block and head though.

What bearing did it spin? Main or Rod

It sounds like a rod bearing but I'm not 100% sure. He ran it out of oil. I did the valve lash and threw some oil in and it got a little quieter but not by much. I'm trying to decide whether to part the integra out, sell it as is or rebuild it.

Usually it's a rod because it's the last to see oil but if it spun a main and damaged not only the crank but the block you might as well just buy a new longblock. If it was me personally, I'd buy a b20 long block from hmotors since they are cheap and a dime a dozen and swap all your obd1 stuff over to it and off you go.
