From my perrsonal experience;
I'm not a D-series DOHC fan, they are very common in Holland (standard engine in the ED9 CRX).
Weak engines who tend to blow up when you like to drive a bit faster, I'd stick with the SOHC if you want to have a D-series.
If you wanted to be cheap, I guess you should have get yourself a non-VTEC B18 or something like that.
But I didn't reply just to flame the engine
Good work on the swap, is the JDM version already OBD1?

Tis' shit when things go wrong but if everything went sweet straight away it would feel weird lol!
