i have made that point several times on here but people still try to argue.... 
Well good sir, you are right on the money, there honestly is no reason to cage your car unless it'll be garaged 99% of the time except the 1% that its on the track. Strut bars/pillar bars etc. are the safest way to get your car to be more solid without having to weld things, even harness bars are unsafe, but thats my opinion, I wouldn't want to see anyone get their heads cut off from a harness bar in a bad accident, leave that as a thought..
