Well I have these 16x7 5 Zigen FN01R-C that I need to get wrapped still and going to paint the hood and roof either flat black or semi-flat black with a clear coat just need to test them both to see what I like better!!

i was thinking, how about :

you take out the boot first (or just unbolt the center console and lift em anyway) then put some kind of thick O rubber to your shift stick. so that it will hold the shift boots neck (mind the inside diameter of the rubber so that the height where it stays is a few centimetres below where you want your shift boots neck stays) put back everything on and voila!!! the only problem is maybe sourcing the thick o rubber. or maybe you can substitute it with anything which diameter is a bit bigger than your shift boot's neck, and just make a hole out of it the diameter of ur shift stick.

anyway, if u dont get it, i'll post pics of mine later..

My thoughts exactly just gotta find one now i was going to look into it this week!! Thanks for the tip though dude!!! :thumb:

- Fri Aug 07, 2009 4:26 pm #136505 Well decided to paint my hood and roof yesterday. The paint spat all over so now need to let it harden and redo it :x oh and got some rubber gromits to fix the shift boot just gotta get to it!
