- Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:46 pm #182986 i never seen anthing get ripped apart from bouncyness. but yes i have had a coilover from ebay brake on me when i had the ford fucus. i drove home on it too. haha. but ya i have nuspeed coilovers and they were used when i got em and i have had em for almost over a year and no problems. but yes its not as good with stock shocks.

- Tue Mar 23, 2010 3:02 am #183029 one will never know. bounciness can lead to one thing and another. I can't prove it and yet you are correct, photo sometimes don't tell the true story... but i sure don't want to drive a car that bounce like a bunny :roll:

well not everyone jumps stuff. i dont see how a "bouncy" ride can cause a chassis to "rip" apart. shouldnt believe these photos. i dont see how its possible.


"IMPACT" on shock tower, and "RUST" of course.

well, this said "impact" doesnt happen if you know how to drive a lowered car. Also its rare, i.e. i have never seen an eg civic have a chassis related fail caused by rust on the chassis.
