#189325 So far I've just made sure all the bolts and screws are tight, but some parts just continue to rattle. Has anyone found a good solution to this common problem?

By the way this is my first post. I love the style of this forum and look forward to being an active member.

#189327 Welcome to the forum, where is the rattling coming from?

#189330 Well I've been trying to locate the exact parts that rattle, but the problem is I only hear the rattling when I'm driving so it's hard to look. I've noticed a piece in the passenger door rattles. I haven't taken off the door panel to look yet, but plan to next time I have a chance. The glove box was also, but I got that fixed it was just a loose screw. There is also something rattling behind the door panel near the seat belt in the backseat behind the passenger seat that I can't find which is the worst of them all.

#189348 easiest thing to do is ride with a passenger and have them try to press on the different panels in the rattle areas to see if they can pin point the problem. Our cars are prone to them. Never upgrade your engine mounts or you'll have about 20 new rattles instantly

#189354 The ratttling behind you is prlooy the seatbelt mechanism ittself. I had a loud stereo at one time and had to force lock and tighten the belt by latching it tight. As for the door, mine had the middle hinge thing had fallen in the door cause the roll pin fell out.

This is a true statement. I had a motor and tranny mount replaced (due to inspection) and the moment I drove it off the lot I had (what I believe to be) squeaky front bushings, new driver side door rattle, and I think it made the shit in the trunk bounce around more
