#222591 cant work out wether to use a block gaurd or not and wot big ends should i use ?? or would standard ones be ok i am putting forged pistons in and eagle rods ?

#222594 hello yeah i have forged pistons wiseco k546m755 im looking a a eagle rod kit but im not sure wot bearing kit to use on the bottom end of my engine and were to get it from also i dont know if i should us a block gaurd or not i dont really want stupid power 250 - 300 bhp :? 300 bhp being the most i would ever want

Are you using an engine builder? They will be able to let you know what size bearings you need if you don't have the tools to measure.

Or if you want to use OEM bearings, you can read Honda's codes stamped on the crank:

#222651 ahhh that second post was much betetr my friend! i now understand the question, yes if it was me personally i owuld get the forged con rods, also acl race bearings are a great choice and no to the block guard, just get a good tune.
