B16a Hks turbo

- Tue Jan 04, 2011 11:21 pm #231461 Well lads. Right I have searched and couldnt find what i was looking for so I said id make a new topic so it would be easier. Right Im from Ireland and have just bought a B16a engine with a Hks turbo on it, i have also bought an eg3 with the 1.3 engine taken out, there is a sohc 1.5vtec loom in it because the last owner was going to do a sohc conversion.

Here is what i have for the swap/build now.
-B16a
-Hks Turbo
-Down pipe
-Blitz bov
-S4c gearbox non lsd
-All engine mounts
-1.5vtec loom (will it work)

I need to know what Ecu I need to buy as i dont have an ecu as yet.
I also want to know what intercooler and oil feed lines i need and if possible does anyone no where to get this in ireland.
Theres not many places I know of that does anything with turboing civics. Its a rare thing here.

and for ECu u you need an 92-95 civic P28 to run the engine and it has to be chipped/reprogrammed to run the turbo set up properly..

then after it's all installed and running go get a tuned to be safe and have the engine last you with the turbo set up.

and if the wiring is from a Vtec Sohc engine of the same year your Eg is then it should all be plug and play.. if the b16a you have is the one from an EG6 (OBD1)?
