#245031 thank ya, yea im keepin the core support flat black gotta touch up a couple small spots i seemed to miss. and once the rear 1/4s are done im doing the bumpers gloss black with gloss grey as the middle of front wer the grate area is and on the bottom of the back bumper where is currently black. the front clip and trunk are gonna be fixed and ligned up properly because there not right now then painting those gloss black then front fenders going gloss black. im hopeing to get her lean enough for and small import show at new england dragway in june. tht gives e a lil time to get her done right. lookin for anoher job so i can buy some actual good parts for it. was gonna be my dd but got quite a few things before i can do that. also if i get my old fourwheeler sold i might be getting a 91 integra thats totaled for bout 300 and the motor trans only got like 145k on them and hole front clip is completely unharmed. so i could be gettin an ls swap haha. :thumb:

#245316 Well the new quarters will already br the right shape all around which makes it much easier. Go to fixmyrust.com and check out the stuff they have. They have either full or partial quarters, looks like you can just get the partials.

#245319 hmm i dont see the partials anymore. You can contact them and see if they still have them. Otherwise id say its up to you on whether you want to buy the whole quarters and put them in for ease or possibly save some money and build them yourself.

#245442 id just mark and cut that rust out, dont even waste time cleaning it up.go two inches past and then prep for welding...

looks like a good project though, don't loose faith guy ,keep plugging at it and soon enough you'll have it beat :thumb:

#245478 If you only buy the partials. You wont have enough metal for the *dog leg* Back from your doob/below the body trim.My advice to you is find an old beat up civic eg door and cut the bottom portion(below the body triim) out and thats a part of your quarter. You can also use the hatchback quarter but you have to modify it a wincy bit where the rear bumper mounts.

You have an extensive amount of body work to do,but it will be SO WORTH IT in the end. You should pop those rocker caps off and see how bad those rockers are :weee: As for you getting the 2 door bumper hold that thought. That could be a whole sedan clip. Check your turn signals with a buddies coupe to see if they match.Easy way to see if its a sedan clip :thumb:

#245519 so i call the local junkyards today and even though they sell body panels and patch panels they dont sell for my civic... go figure. so figuring out my money situation because i got somethings to pay then il see if i can get the patchpanels for the rear 1/4s from fixmyrust.com. i have all my audio stuff pretty much layed out for the civic. not installing till back or inner wheel wells are all patched and the trunk is finished. i got a sony headunit, alpine door speakers, pioneer rear speakers, tsunami wireing, sony xplod 1000w amp, old 12" kicker sub (temporary), and Q Logic single bandpass competition box. worked great in my last car got 6 warning for dtp because of it haha.

no dx came with a tach in auto or manual

you can get the lx cluster which has a tach that redlines at 6800 i believe
or you can get the si/ex which redlines at 7200.. not to sure on the lx, its been along time since i switched to the sx/so cluster

or you can go with the jdm cluster, or do the teg cluster.. but the most practical one would be the ex/si or lx, depending on what u find or want
