#262772 well, the ole' exedy is on its way out

rolled a RSX at Thursday Night Lightz this evening. they don't do any track prep so ET's are never great. you can hear it spinning the tires in first and second but when it hooked third, you can hear the clutch slip a little..

still managed to trap my fastest ever of 110.34 mph 8)

i think it's time for a beefy clutch, straight pipe all the way back, and maybe get it back on the dyno for a little more powa!

#262930 might as well go stage 3 just in case you want to up the boost any plus you would be surprised how much better it will grab as well. and it would still be street-able, to a point.

#263036 I chirp tires going into 5th gear with my stage 2 clutch. Its Knarley. a Stage 3 is even crazier. If your going to be tearing everything apart you might as well put the stage 3 in their, its not like this is your daily driver(poppin that ztak) so you might as well go nuts be ready for when that urge for even more power comes in.

#263066 you guys are probably right, I should factor in the boost bug urges for more power

guess i'm gonna start throwing money aside for the $400 kevlar stage 3. I've read some really good reviews about it.. very streetable, grabs hard, and has a lot more life than the "puck" style clutches

#263165 i agree, i think your going to be happier with the stage 3, especially when you want to make more powa...

i'm in need of a clutch very soon and i might be looking into this, so keep us updated on what you decide to do!

i'm almost dead set on an FX300 kit, kevlar disc, good for 300-350whp, is this what you have?

#263196 ^^ only thing is.. when i think of Clutch Masters i see the video of their sponsored integra damn near doing a front flip with a 1-2-3-2 shift

and speaking of the ole' 1-2-3-2 shift.. (which I just maybe did one time and got lucky enough to only have a valve set screw come loose  ) the shop where my car got tuned just got these in stock..

oh i'm gettin one

#263307 haha, well very good point.. but i'm thinking that's what i'm going to be purchasing soon enough here, it should be great for the power level i'm at and also has a smooth engagement (at least i hope..haha)

nice shift knob :thumb:

#263645 turned the boost down just a little bit, and still did work this evening at Thursday Night Lightz

a supposedly "built" '06 Subaru WRX gets rolled.. yeah he took off quick, but thats about it  http://youtu.be/yxgXEOdj5mo

1st round eliminations against a new Camaro SS.. hatchy FTW!!http://youtu.be/CSWKRCrd1u4

2nd round vs another WRX http://youtu.be/l4Ao4VGP05Q

3rd round vs a Mustang GT http://youtu.be/KHKx_rrD3FA

4th round vs an old Camaro http://youtu.be/aUCeMsPhYbk

lost in the finals to a boosted K24 hatch by way of double break-out :x

this was all done in this weeks new "slow car" class of 12.99 and slower. it was pretty much who could run closest to 13 flat without breaking out.
