take that engine out and sell it and drop in a different engine if you want more power.
if you have a Civic VX then you have the D15Z1 engine in it, along with the VX trans. that car gets like 55mpg stock. that's what that engine was designed for.
if you're lookin for more power drop a D16Y9 i think that's the one with VTEC or drop in a B-series.
bolt on's won't get you much on that 1.5L

it does have vtec. it's like vtec-e or some shit like that. that's how that engine and trans are able to get 55+mpg.

You do have VTEC. Its just VTEC-E. Which came on the D15z1. Its a great motor for gas milage. I suggest you keep it in there for now until you make up your mind with what you want to do, motor wise. There are and endless set of options.
I would suggest starting with wheels and tires, then suspension. No sense in ripping out a motor that works perfectly well.

yea the swap wont be for awhile but when it come to that time i want either a b16 or 18...and thats pretty much what im going to do for now is wheel and a drop...im thinking of the si wheels for winter and get the knock off spoons i think there the rota slipstreams
and they call it the eco V-tec

Thanks...i just orodered tail lights, mirrors, and on o2 sensor but they sent the tail lights and mirrors for a 4 door 
and the o2 sensor wasnt even close to my car lol but ill get the parts sooner or later then im droping it and getting some wheels!
can the hatches also be called a 2 door? instead of a 3 door?
