#8981 Pedals are sucky sucky, but feel much better over stock.
First I've got more important things to do, before I'm off buying some kinky ones :)

For five of those little things I had to cough up ? 25,11 including BTW.

And I've got another update, always busy here ;)

I took a piece of vacuumcleanerhose and two fuelfunnels, and used the funnels as airscoops behind the bumper, IRL hard to see.
The hose then goes to the brakes, cooling the discs as I'm driving.
Tomorrow I'll be driving on a fairly short circuit, and I need all the cooling I can get with my tiny 240mm discs.

Also something on the passengerside...

And this is how I get the cool air in the hoses.

Did some testing yesterday, doesn't fade as fast as it did before.
So it was an hour well spend :woot:

#9014 Today was time to put it to the test at a circuit day.
IT WORKED UNBELIEVABLY WELL!!
Though, it still needs extensive testing on a dry circuit.
I loved it, every single euro I've put in upgrading my Civic was well spend, all I need now is bigger brakes (wich are coming next month) and more power (saving up for a B18c4).

Action pic, it was soaking wet today, it didn't rain this morning, untill 12.00.
I was driving 12.15 and 14.00.
The 15 minute heat at 14.00 was moved because of the tons of rain after finishing one lap.

Please don't mind the lame helmet :D

On our way to the circuit, the skies were trying to tell us what weather it would be later on...
I'm that tall guy in front, with the black/gold Nikes.

#9192 Yesterday I was sick and tired (spelled it right?) of the paint coming of my valvecover.
I didn't use heatresistant paint, on september 22nd 2006 it looked like this:

Yesterday afternoon, it was like this:

And a moment ago it looked like THIS :)

Also, yesterday a friend of mine came by and delivered some other goodies;
An OEM radiatorcap, the old one was not OEM and deceased a while ago, taking at least one D15 engine with it.
A clogged up radiator didn't help either, but that was sorted out last december, when we swapped.
Also, I received a good coolingfluid reservoir, mine had 2 little holes in it.

And, also, I lost the nut that keeps that euhmm, (thing you put your throttlecable in) in place, and the spring that brings it back to closed.
I got it back, and also another spring, working perfectly again now :)
No DIY this time, just old fashion OEM goodies ;)

Now all I have to do is to find a black numberplatething, black hood, and paint the rooftop black.
Tomorrow I'll wash it down, make a pic with a decent camera.
At least it's way better than the old one, wich had holes and dents in 'em (spoiler, see 1st post) and had a completely different color of red as the sides have.
