what's the exact name of my engine where can I find it in my car, my friends told me it's D15, when I search the net there's a lot of D15, l;ike d15a2, a3, d15b etc oh my, I have to familiarize myself
its on the lower left side of your block, were your block and tranny meet. you will probably need a rag/towel and some cleaner to "uncover" it. look through peoples builds, if they got a fancy engine they usually take of pic of the code..
It said D15b, now I'm more curious
is this the only carburaeted engine today..anyways I'm planning to buy a 2 rows radiator cause my old single row radiator was too old and rusty, maybe upgrading it to two rows will help my engine not to overheat, but before i buy I need a go signal from you guys who knows about the benefits of having a 2 rows...
If your car is still stock, it must have the local hatchback engine which is PH12. Hatchbacks released in the Philippines didn't have any other engine variant. The limited editions are those that came out in blue, red and black but the only differences were the interior and rims.
I agree with their comments. Your best route is an engine swap. You may get a D15B or D16ZC. Prepare to spend around $900 -$1,000 for the swap. It already includes the engine, ECU, fuel tank, and labor expenses.
and oh...you may use your stock tranny so no need to buy one. HTH.
