#122873 Found a deal on a 16lb chromoly Exedy flywheel, so I bought it. There's noone in town that'll grind a flywheel. When you say resurface, they think lathe. :eh:

#130012 16 pounds is 2 pounds lighter than stock...not really worth it.

Mine is 8.5 pounds. W00t!!

Love the Pressure plate color!

#130210 It was only fifteen bucks more than the cheapest stock one I could find online, so hey, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Put the new clutch, flywheel, and axles in. 3 hours. :D

Here's the stock one that slips like a bastard at full boost. It held fine at 6 psi. Not so fine at 11.

HUGE PIC

Not too friggin shabby. I was expecting way worse, but I was surprised. No hotspots on either the flywheel or the plate, tons of material on the disc. I'm going to try and sell them. :D

Anyone want to buy a clutch for a D16? Slightly used. :hehe:

#130224 :D

Also I didn't do all of the shift stabilizer. I did the bushings on the front, but the bolts on the rear of it looked too scary, so I didn't want to touch them. Still made a difference in my car's sloppy ass shifter.

#130439 the back one is easy!! Just pull it off and work the new on on. You dont have to cut anything. I didnt.

#130477 No, I mean I'm not brave enough to try taking off those bolts. They're all nasty and rusty. Moreso than the rest of the car.

I'll give it a shot next time I have it on the hoist.

#130561 man i love that intercooler painted black like that... i bought one of that sized used and thought it was going to be too big :x

so i bought a smaller version......how's the fitment? love the setup though, i might need a new clutch very soon, is that a stock disc with a HD PP?

#130584 There's pics of it with the bumper cover off on page five. I had to cut the hell out of the bumper beam to get it back on, but the bumper cover only needed minor trimming and it fits nice and flush. I'm really happy with how it fits. :D

I don't know if the disc is stock, but it is a HD PP. The clutch kit is rated at around 200 ft lbs. They sell this with a 6 puck for 5 bucks more, but I won't be making more power unless I build the motor. And if I have to build I'm shooting for 300. :hehe:

#130592 good to hear man, i took out my bumper support because i burnt up a set of foglights due to arcing and cross-shorting so i don't have that to worry about, i was curious about the bumper cover...... where did you get your piping?

right now i just built my motor and talked to the tuner, hopefully my stage 1 holds  it's basically brand new

#138655 Got it back from the welder early yesterday (I found a guy that would weld in my quarters for me and paid him 400 cash), spent all yesterday and today on it. This is where it's at right now:

Now I'm going to "prep" (scuff) the rest of the car and roll on some red. ;D
