#22282 oh damn, and i just got a lift the other day to do this, crap. maybe i shhoulda looked before i did it

but one question, to take off my bolts i got a torque wrench, how do i determine the pounds of tourqe to use to take off and put the bolts back on?

cause im swapping my engine so would it be easier to take the engine out the top with a left and let the tranny sit on an object out the bottom?

#22309 I'd buy a helms or chiltons manual. they are about 10 bucks and they tell you every detail about your whole car. they give you the torque ratings for every bolt :thumb:

I didnt have to mess with the transmission mount at all though... All I did was unscrew one bolt and that was it for that mount.

#77448 I dropped my engine out the bottom earlier this summer but i used a forklift to jack up the car and drop the motor what ever works tho right.

#166077 that sounds like it would be difficult with the alternator being up front and the intake mani being closer to the firewall. I'd take those things off first.
