but one question, to take off my bolts i got a torque wrench, how do i determine the pounds of tourqe to use to take off and put the bolts back on?

cause im swapping my engine so would it be easier to take the engine out the top with a left and let the tranny sit on an object out the bottom?

- Wed Sep 05, 2007 11:51 pm #22309 I'd buy a helms or chiltons manual. they are about 10 bucks and they tell you every detail about your whole car. they give you the torque ratings for every bolt

i prefer going to my class.. we have engine hoists..

and every snap on tool / fluid you can imagine all for free haha, have the motor out in 3 hours

dont drive untuned!

I didnt have to mess with the transmission mount at all though... All I did was unscrew one bolt and that was it for that mount.

- Thu Nov 06, 2008 9:26 am #77448 I dropped my engine out the bottom earlier this summer but i used a forklift to jack up the car and drop the motor what ever works tho right.
