- Sun Nov 01, 2009 9:40 pm #154207 ok well ive been here a while now and never did a build thread for the sedan that i had before so i figured i might aswell post up some pics and log the progress of this build. sorry for the first pics that i have they were taken with my blackberry, thats all i had at the time. the hatch has a 1994 jdm h22a all internals were swaped over to the type s. and it also has the bisimoto h2b kit.

so here she is the day that i got her home.

and well here is a pic of the engine block 36 hours after i bought it. needless to say i threw a rod


since the day i threw the rod all ive been doing is stockin up on parts. so far i got new carpet, new shifter and ebrake consoles,new shifter and ebrake boots, aswell as the side liners for the back. will post some more pics up as i go to put all this stuff in.

- Mon Nov 02, 2009 12:10 am #154222 looks like a good start. If you havn't got a new block yet I would recommend a F22B as you can reuse your H Parts but have stronger cylinder walls.

- Sat Jan 16, 2010 4:29 am #168825 little update. i took a 6 hour drive last friday up to dirty jersey to get my new motor. got the hatch in the garage where she belongs instead of out in the winter cold pulled the old engine out sunday i think. and ive just been tryin to clean up the bay a little cause im waiting on a new harness. found that once i pulled the engine the dude that had it before me was not i repeat not versed in wireing very well. needless to say half the shit was cut and hacked so bad i had wires runnin all over the place so new harness is suppose to be here to day i guess we will see but either way heres a few bay pics in progress.

sprayed , cleared, and rewraped the harnes waiting on this portion to dry before i move to the next.

i uploaded mine at a friends house, and they're smaller than that... damn photobucket..

- Sun Feb 21, 2010 5:09 am #176725 ok as some of u know ive been waiting on evolution industries to send me a template so that i could properly notch the back of my block for the axle to clear on the driver side. 3 weeks later they finaly fax me a outline after i bitch at them for like 15 minutes. transfer it to cardboard and the fuckin thing is still so small that i end up free handing the notching. piss's me off cause by now i could have been driven the damn car. either way got the engine in tonight goin out in the am to get some oil and misc. other shit to start her up. ill post up some picks of the notch and install in a bit cause photobucket is actin up

- Wed Mar 03, 2010 3:41 am #178839 so engine is in and runnin like a charm. purrs like a kitten. no valve taps no nothing it is very quiet. i am rather pleased. only thing left to do is to hook up the vtec and all is done engine wise. last night i started with my interior. heres some pics of the new fresh shit shes gettin.

oh yeah thats right brand new factory fresh carpet.....dont hate dont hate
