hatch door trims

- Wed Apr 28, 2010 3:52 pm #190624 im looking into taking off my door trims along the doors , i was wonder has any1 done it before and are they clipped it stuck onto the car , and how easy is it to removing them ??

- Wed Apr 28, 2010 3:56 pm #190625 the have a plastic clip on the backside of them and on the very ends i think they have screws, there kinda a bitch to get off, and there will be holes there when you remove them...

- Wed Apr 28, 2010 4:06 pm #190630 i cant see ur pic :eh: so are you going to fill the groove in and completly shave it of just weld the holes shut and keep the factory outline like a cx or vx has? my boosted cars has them completely shaved, (it was like that when i got it) personanaly i wouldnt recomend doing it like that unless you weld metal in and make it flush with metal and use a skim coat of filler, if you just fill it in with fiber glass (like the boy did mine) it will just crack out...
