- Tue Oct 09, 2007 1:56 am #25813 with my old auto y8 minime I got up to somewhere between 100 & 110. After it got to about 100, the acceleration was about + 1 mph/min

Now it can get to 100 much faster but I have not taken it much past that. If I'm gonna do high speeds I'd get some hood pins. Scary when you're driving and your cf hood is flexing up and down when it's latched.

115mph in 4th, 5th gear i started slowing down

If you have a sohc thats just gonna happan

Yeah d15b2, sohc non vtec

4th gears amazing, 5th the acceleration is soooo slow

my best was about 112mph or 180km/h with my D16 single cam zc, was late fetching my girl from the airport
took forever to get her up to that speed though.

I'm almost calling bullshit, and for a couple reasons.......

1. Your cluster doesnt even go to 160
2. Me doing 145ish, put me in 5th gear VTEC at about 8800rpm's, so to get to 160, I can only imagine what the RPM's would have to be.

yeah i went 150 in a prelude and it was 5th gear vtec red lined

115mph in 4th, 5th gear i started slowing down

5th gear is a overdrive

i went 183 KM/h with my D15 in Germany.. (there are no speed limits in Germany on the highway)
