#273750 I already ordered my headlights, I thought they were all the same according to some forums and searching. I ordered them from amazon and it doesn't say what body style they are for, you just type in year/make/model and it tells you if they fit. Hopefully they fit.

#273751 Ok did a search on a dealer parts site. All the body styles have the same part number for the headlight assembly so they should all interchange correct?

#273762 Got a question. How do the signal lenses bolt to the car? It seems I am missing something where the screw goes into. The signal light has the plastic grommet and screw attached to it, I don't know where the plastic piece mounts to the car to screw the lens to it. Anyone have a pic of how they install? It would help alot to see it, think I am missing a part or the new radiator core support doesn't have the mounting hole for the plastic piece. I have no clue cause the car didn't have the lights or anything mounted correctly when I got it due to damage so I have no reference. Thanks.

#273793 and the headlights are the same between the hatch, coupe, and sedan. The corner lights are what differ. The hatch and coupe are the same, and the sedan is its own.

#273811 Nice info. I see where the corners attach now I think. Looks like they slide onto the bracket of the headlight and screw to the angled tab with the metal clip on the headlight? I don't have my headlights yet, I was guessing they screwed to the car somewhere.

What is the point of retrofitting? Thats what I'm trying to understand. Will they not work correctly if I just install the HID's in my stock halogen lens?

#273869 Projector headlights works just like a projector, it uses lens to maximize the output of your bulbs. It will concentrate the light into one area, where in the stock headlight the light is going everywhere.

#274014 I get ya, I don't know if I want to do that. I've never done it before I don't want to screw up my new lights.

#274057 I have those exact one piece headlights in my sedan too. The light output isn't great AT ALL! When installed, the adjustments are up against the support and it's all angled down toward the road. I had to use some scrap aluminum and rig up the top mounts because all 4 brackets broke when i removed them from the car.

I actually had to take them off the car because there was an air gap in the bottom seal and dirt made its way into the chrome reflector and coated the back of the lense. I was able to pull the 'seal' and separate the housing halves with a screwdriver... I cleaned it out and resealed it with proper black silicon and it doesn't get dirt in it anymore but the output is STILL down on the road instead of where it needs to be. Brights just make two V's patterns so i can see the middle strip on the road, and the side of the road, but it's dark in between.

I'm trashing them after a different set coming. Might just go with a two piece non-diffused clear main housing with amber corners.

#274151 I want a two piece smooth clear lens with retrofitted HIDs. I'll have to see how the new headlights work first, I don't want to mess them up by trying to do it myself. I have stock replacements coming and amber corners.

#275475 still having problems with my lights. Stock replacements don't fit right either. I think it's the new core support I put in. It wasn't oem honda, the inside brackets that the studs on the headlights are supposed to slide into don't let the lights slide towards the car far enough. I removed the driver side one and ground the slotting out further back. I tried fitting it in without the bracket in to see how far I could get the lights to sink in. They hit the core support before they even sit in as far as they are supposed to. So I have a problem there. Trying to figure out ideas to get the lights to set in further into the sockets, I tried shaving some plastic off the housing where that bolt comes out. Any ideas?

just to clarify

they headlights are supposedly different (per drawing from majestic honda)
but they bolt up the same. (same core support = same headlights)

but anyways they have different part numbers but fit the same. i think the only difference is where you adjust the headlights. but i havent seen one where it was different or why it was different.
