#44730 Nice build, just wanted to point a few things out.

PCT pistons in a 1.8 block you are looking at 12.1+ compression. Also you might even need to cut the piston reliefs if you run Toda B's. I highly recommend you stick with B16A pistons if you want to daily this car even on 93. If you decide to stick with these pistons I recommend you clay the head more than once and valve lash the head correctly. Ur valve clearance is going to be tighter than a 12yr virgin haha. Only reason I am stressing this is because I had a similar set-up but I just JUN III's in my build but only clayed the head once and slapped it on. well lets say when I threw it on a dyno it didnt leave running hahaha.

Also if you havent read all over honda-tech yet ACL bearings only come in one size. So the chance of ur journals being in spec are slim. So you have to machine them to fit. I recommend just saving urself the worry and just pay out for some good OEM honda bearings.

#46999 unfortunatly no. I have had to put it on hold as I need to get a new gas saver daily and I have to start saving for bills when My girl gets her surgery. Im also waiting to see what the shop that is getting my short block together says. Im going to take them the ACL bearings, but If they want factory OEM parts thats what I will get. From what I heard of the shop thats all they will use. If so, I will get them. Im still waiting on a good deal on Toda springs and retainers for my cams. I want a full Toda head package. I just cant really find the gears, but I think i will just get Skunk2 pro series.

I feel yeah. If you dont mind me asking WHY Toda? I personally have ran a lot of cams and I actually think my Toda's were the most stubborn.

IF you want to get some DOPE cam-gears I would personally get some Spoon or BIZIMOTOS. I know Spoons are over-rated but I have ran them forever and never had problems.

Anyways Cant wait to see the set-up you eventually run and see the numbers :D

yeah i was thinking the same thing.. 2.5 is turbo....... for our little 1.6 - 1.5 liter motors


stock EK9 CTR has 2.5" header and it has 184 hp unlike this fellow who expects 200hp...

I´m building the same thing and I bought EK9 stock header for start...

so far you´re looking good,keep up & good luck on finishing your project

#47109 I found the cam gears I want from inline last night. The Buddy Club ones. One gold and one titanium. Look sweet. Im not really picky on the cam gears. I just want some that wont slip. As for the springs and retainers, I want what was designed for my cams. I have Toda Spec Bs.
