#51976 I first owned a 1995 V6 mustang 5speed. It had a messed up piston pin and made an extremely loud ticking noise that could be heard down the street. I then realized a sherriff that lives by me owned an Eg hatch.... but never drove it(I could tell from the spiderwebs that connected the hatch to the ground and layers of dirt on the car). I offered to buy his car for 1100$ since it looks like he didnt care for it anymore, but he shut the door on me and the next day the car had a for sale sign on it(it was washed too!.. bastard :eekdance: ). So the next day I offered 2000 dollars for it.. and it was mine. It had 165k miles on it, 5 speed, no leaks, no body damage, paint was clean, no rust, and was completely stock still  . I first painted the rims... then I ripped off the paint and made them look like polished aluminum. I was a victim to ebay though... I bought halos >.< ... it won't happen again... I need to still put the original headlights back it....

#51984 Looking nice so Far, I love the Red Strip on the Rims matching the Red Brake Calipers/Drums. Nice Touch. Also good on getting rid of the Halo's. I am doing the same thing.

Very good start so far. :thumb:

#52008 Yeah... I have a few more plans for the civic... I am considering to buy the eg siR interior swap... but I don't know if I want to pay that much for just the interior swap!(450$ from Hmotorsonline). I definitely want to do something to the motor.. I am thinking about swaping the d15z1 head for the z6 head and then a turbo with a good dyno tune... but then I dont know.... I know for sure that I do want to do a turbo with a SOHC!!... only a sohc too.. sorry, I am not bagging on the dohc... :o
I did lower the civic a 1.5 inch drop.. but the ride is not stiff enough and the civic is not LOW enough! I used kyb Gr-2 shocks with Vogtland springs... Another item that I was a victim from ebay... :x YOU EBAY!! .. another thing I want to do is just a rear disc brake conversion... I dont want to mess with the brake booster or anything.. just the simple rear disc conversion(I heard it was pretty simple and cheap). I dont know what kind of exhaust I want... I do know I dont want anything loud or raspy.. Kinda of a lower and mellow sound(HKS?) ... iono.. Thanks for the props on the wheels guys... took me longer than I thought but it came through...

#53238 I really want a set of black slips with red lip 8) them wheels look really cool though. As what fresh eh2 said, it really needs a drop looks like it's sitting really high.

#53351 yeah I know... I dont know what to drop it on though.. I dont want coilovers.. so what? Skunk2 springs or what? Something that lowers the car more and doesnt completely destroy the comfortability of the ride. :?

#53356 For comfortability coil overs would be so much better than just springs. Atleast with coil overs you can adjust the high to how you want it, where as springs are set to a specific hight.

I'm using a set of Eibach lowering springs on my Civic, I just wished I waited and saved a few 100 more to get full coil overs. My springs arnt too bad, but coil overs are so much better.
Also when it comes to track use, coil overs are more recommended, but then again IDK what you use your car for.

But at the end of the day, the choice is yours :)
