#59067 I have done this, and I must say one of the easiest mods ever and def gives the gauge cluster an updated and fresh look. The old yellowish lights in there look tired and well...old. I highly recommend this mod. I do not remember the number I will find out though.

James

I will find the pic soon and post it.

#59208 Was/is the light equally distributed over the faces?
I've seen setups were it looks crap, inconsistent hotspots everywhere.

#68637 Sorry to bring back an old thread but now that my lights are fixed thought I should post my pic here so have more than just one example to give you an idea of what leds in the cluster look like.

#68657 Thanks for that link Derbo. I will get my next set from them. Yours looks way better than mine. One off mine has since gone out too. Stupid crappy LEDs.

#68689 Your temp guage looks a little dim.

#68755 Yeah I think it looks dim because my cam was on night shot with auto settings, so it adjusted for the middle of the image. It is same as the others in person. Crappy point and click camera. The bulbs were just white from

http://www.superbrightleds.com

I also tried blue but then not sure reminded me too much of the high school F&F days.

#68936 I used #74 bulbs for mine, I'm just not sure what size the 3 bigger bulbs were.. Be sure to get the 3-bulb leds 'coz the single ones weren't bright enough..

So what I did was I took out the leds that I bought then took the stock bulbs, bought some spray tint from Rona then sprayed the bulbs. Looks a bit dim, but better than stock. :thumb:
