#71675 looks like its going very good for you. If anything I would just buy a inexpensive valve cover gasket and take that cover off and clean it fully. then you can see how your valves and such look and then have a nice clean valve cover or you can shave the valve cover and paint it or just paint it but non the less looking very good

#71677 I need to strip my valve cover too.

What else are you going to do to it?

Yeah I've been trolling all the various boards for one. (ClubSI, TurboD16, EG Hatch, here, etc.)

I've made an attempt thus far to stay away from Honda Tech. So many ricers. Tons of people there though, and someone is bound to have a valve cover for sale.

I'll find one soon enough.

I'm thinking turbo kit. There aren't enough real cars up here to warrant piecing one together. Everybody buys the same boring cars, so there's nothing good in the one salvage yard we have in town. That yard also crushes cars rather quickly. Not to mention the fact nobody in this town knows fuckall about tuning, myself included.

I would rather just go the painless non-fuck-up-able route, and the Greddy kit looks about right. Has a piggyback with a tune on it, bolts on, it's priced reasonably... It'll be a good experience for my first boosted car. I'd like to keep this Si for a while.

#71746 Thats what that kit is designed for. It seems perfect for you if that is your case where you live.

#72614 New mirrors. Old ones were taped up and the power didn't work. I could hear the motors, but the mirrors wouldn't move.

Ebayed myself a pair of these:

They work great! :)

#72638 They were only 20 bucks. Getting some OEMs weren't worth it. :D

#72642 Yellowknife? jeeze you're far up. would you even be able to have a winter beater and a summer car?

#72644 You'd be surprised. There's a guy in town with a rod he built. He drives it as long as he can. I saw him out last week with a thick winter jacket, goggles, mitts, and a scarf. This week was a bit warmer.

#74506 I don't think the mirrors look out of place. :?

I have my fair share of "justice" in the mail, on its way.

I'll keep everyone posted as parts start rolling in.

I got this last night:

EDIT: Shit, I may as well just show you my plans now.

Greddy 15g turbo kit
eBay Intercooler and piping kit
New hood
Rust repair panels for rear quarters
Boost gauge and pillar pod
Vibrant Streetpower full exhaust
CF hatch
HKS Type 1 turbo timer
Fidanza short throw shifter

All this has been ordered. Around Christmas I'll get some wheels and tires. Probably some bronze TE37 clones or something. 15".

EDIT2: Gasket came in today.
