i think if someone offers me a car between a Traditional AT and a CVT.... at least in the traditional AT transmission you can feel the gear change. last week i was driving a nissan primera with CVT is is so weird (2.000 RPM all the time without changes!!) that i dont want to drive that ... "thing".... anymore

thats a good way to detonate a trans.

no AT can handle that

its possible but very expencive. I got quoted 2 yrs ago for a trans for my boosted Integra(A/T) only because 8psi was getting boring and i wanted to boost 15psi+ and i did it for about a week and the trans started slipping, Level 10 quoted me $5000 for a built auto trans that could handle 600hp+.


My sedan is an auto and is staying an auto i have health problems that prevent me from driving a stick. but i am however B swaping my civic.

I have my 1993 DX Sedan with a D16z6 and Ex/Si 5speed. As well as my 1999 DX Hatch with B16a2 swap and B16 5speed LSD Transmission, and of course a Staged Clutch.

Then comes my 2001 Acura Integra LS Automatic. Its my "town car" If I am going to go get grocery's or pick up/drop off movies Its nice to have an Auto. Also when I park it at the movie theater I don't worry about it getting stolen or broke into. When Theifs look in they see its an Auto and stock, They dont even bother.
